Until her transition, Lillie was fighting for her community, Gilpin Court, a place she called home and people she called family. The implementation of the Charles S. Gilpin Community Farm became her passion and so it is there we will gather.

Lillie's influence rings from the dilapidated walls of our housing projects to the pristine halls of institutions like Harvard University, connecting communities around the world.

This year Lillie's born day falls on the same day as National Night Out, a community-police awareness-raising event in the United States. Lillie supported community policing. Not to be confused with policing the community.

Join us as we hold up the banner of courage and light of peace she left with us. We invite you from near and far to show solidarity in justice for all across the world.
